Unexpected drama with getting my bike out to California and catching a cold during race week didn't stand in the way of a new 70.3 PR to wrap up the 2023 season!

Lahti, Finland was the site of my first time racing at a world championship event. It was one of the most memorable (and rainy!) days of my life.

I accomplished goals I never could have imagined a year ago. But it’s a weekend of mixed emotions because of events in my life away from triathlon.

After catching COVID in June, and again in July, I wasn't really prepared for this race. I'm glad I went anyway!

My second Ironman 70.3 in fifteen days brought me back to Chattanooga, my favorite host city.
