The race began with open water panic, but ultimately ended in my fastest Olympic distance triathlon ever.

The distance was made up and the overall time didn't matter today.

My first time ever doing a triathlon relay! It was only ⅓ of the work, but that tropical humidity left me sweatier than most traditional triathlons. 😅

The final notable event of my 30s naturally had to be a triathlon! Just 10 days before Christmas, I jumped into Lake Eva for my *fifth* 70.3 of 2025.

Not only was it a race weekend, it was the opening weekend for a certain movie sequel I’d been waiting *literally* decades to finally see. 🌪️
