Let’s start with the good news!

Monday through Thursday were awesome! No unexpected fires to put out at work where I had to rearrange my workouts. The best part? We’re finally done with snow for a while! Off the treadmill and running outside!

In terms of intensity, this week was pretty easy. Maybe even a bit too easy? The hardest workouts were the weight training. Swimming, biking, and running were sweaty…but nothing that ever felt too challenging. The reason is that next week is a big running week. So I get a few easier days leading into it.

Unfortunately, as I write this on Sunday afternoon, I’ve got this awful scratchy throat feeling like I’m coming down with something. I first felt the throat pain when I woke up on Saturday morning. Today, I feel super weak and tired. Not really symptomatic of anything beyond that…yet? But I decided to push my long Sunday run over to tomorrow.

Fingers crossed I can fight whatever this is off and crush the big week looming next!
